**Job Overview**

As a Senior Piping Designer at McDermott, you will play a critical role in driving the energy transition by designing and building offshore wind infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in making the impossible possible.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop high-quality piping designs and drawings, ensuring clarity and ease of construction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop clash-free designs and ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures.
  • Prepare and develop key project deliverables, including conceptual studies, FEED studies, and detail design drawings.
  • Interface with other disciplines to obtain input for design and drawings, and ensure clearly defined interfaces and deliverables.
  • Document substantive communications and forward copies to Discipline Lead Designer and Discipline Supervisor.
  • Assist in preparing estimates for proposals and job scope changes, including execution statements, work schedules, and manhour requirements.
  • Raise technical queries to obtain missing information, clarify work scope, and maintain preferred McDermott procedures, specifications, standards, practices, and operational requirements.

**Requirements**

  • Strong knowledge of piping design principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and design software.
