At British American Tobacco, we are seeking a highly skilled IDT Planning Analyst to join our Digital Business Solutions department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate quarterly, half-year, and full-year actual reporting cycles and financial review, forecast vs actual variance analyses;
- Finance-related communications to the IDT team, including monthly deadlines (e.g. month-end closure, quarter-end, etc.);
- Ensure delivery of accurate financial information (budgets, forecasts, and actual results) and financial control GBS IDT level, including ongoing and project budgets;
- Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period;
- Ensure department managers meet budget submission deadlines;
- Manage contracts by company policies, including preparing and negotiating the terms and conditions of contracts and ensuring contract compliance with the company's policies and procedures;
- Advising internal and external involved parties of the status of contracts, and supporting and following-up invoice payments;
- Handle IT hardware (including mobiles) asset portfolio concerning risk, cost control, and governance.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of dynamic experience in Financial Reporting and Planning;
- Confirmed work experience as a Budget Analyst;
- Experience in SAP;
- Good command of English in verbal and written communication and possess effective communication skills;
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills with an attention to detail;
- Deep understanding of contracts, contracts governance, contractual language, and the contract lifecycle;
- Ability to explain budgeting and financial information in plain terms;
- Knowledge of MS Excel (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charts).
