Citi is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist to lead efforts in preventing, monitoring, and responding to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks.

The ideal candidate will ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities align with Citi's information security policy. They will establish strong working relationships with businesses and be responsible for stakeholder management, execution of IS activities, and remediation and reporting of IS risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address security issues identified in various information security programs
  • Review and address issues within various Information Security (IS) programs and ensure all IS issues related to Internal Audit, and External Auditors are closed by their original target date
  • Improve governance processes by identifying risks, monitoring controls, and remediating issues
  • Establish cross-sector working relationships and complete weekly awareness discussions with local teams to efficiently tackle security issues
  • Ensure risk exceptions are raised, registered, and closed on a timely basis and communicate updates and changes to global standards
  • Complete Risk Assessment process, including accurate inventory reporting, data classification, threat analysis, and action plans
  • Test and validate that the business complies with applicable IS requirements; develop and implement IS policies and procedures
  • Determine and validate appropriate levels of controls are being implemented to safeguard sensitive data
  • Develop Corrective Action Plans for all Information Security-related gaps and approve all closures through reviewing evidence to ensure each closure meets Citi Requirements
  • Assume an informal/formal mentorship role within teams and assist with coaching and training of new team members
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Requirements
  • +5 years of Information Security Risk Management or related business/technology experience
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven influencing and relationship management skills
  • Proven analytical skills
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Relevant certification on information security such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP, desirable.

This role is a full-time position and requires strong knowledge of cyber and information security controls, risk management skills, and experience in identifying information security risk mitigants. The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
