About the Role

Rackspace Technology is seeking a highly skilled GRC Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) function, you will be responsible for leading the security policy management function within GRC end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the security policy management function within GRC end-to-end, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective security policies, procedures, and standards to mitigate risks and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement controls to ensure the security and compliance of Rackspace Technology's systems and data.
  • Design and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on security best practices, phishing, and other security-related topics.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to GRC Platform, including security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support the maturity of the Governance function by identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of practical information security experience in developing and maintaining secure architectures for large enterprises.
  • Strong understanding of Archer GRC Tool, with experience in navigation and development a plus.
  • Fluent, bi-lingual (Spanish and English) with the ability to communicate effectively with employees across the organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate across departments and network with various employees to solve issues, host trainings, run meetings, and workshops.
