As a Data Scientist at Euromonitor, you will be part of our team that develops and implements machine learning models to help our clients understand consumer behavior and preferences.\
We are looking for a talented individual who can join our team and contribute to the development of new and innovative solutions using data science techniques.

Job Summary:

This role involves formulating hypotheses and developing proof-of-concept machine learning models for natural language processing and image processing tasks. You will also conduct supervised and unsupervised learning tasks, translate industry-specific knowledge into proper models, and communicate insights effectively in both written and visual ways.\

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a background in mathematics, physics, natural sciences, or engineering fields with relevant working experience of 2+ years. Advanced knowledge of Python, R, SQL, understanding of merge-request git flow, basic scripting including CI/CD, regular expressions, shell commands, HTML, JavaScript, and basic web app development skills are required. Additionally, good coding habits such as proper documentation, linting, styling, reproducibility, code review best practices, and test-driven development are essential. Skills to maintain ML models, suggest model improvements, propose working solutions for business problems, and clearly communicate problem status, actions taken, conclusions, improvements, and limitations are also required.\

Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year depending on experience.
