Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team at World Fuel Services. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit monthly informative declarations to tax authorities
- Support in the monthly tax calculations of Income Tax, IVA Tax, and Withholdings Tax
- Prepare volumetric controls reports and submit to tax authorities
- Support with the annual tax calculations of Income Tax and Withholdings Tax
- Notify national content to tax authorities
- Prepare special tax calculations used for annual tax returns
- Execute the payment complement process and edit errors in the process with EDICOM until certification is obtained
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical School diploma in accounting
- Advanced English
- 4 years of accounting and tax experience
- Experience in Excel and Oracle (Plus)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proactive self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to draw insights from data
- Ability to initiate, develop, and deploy process improvements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships across the organization
