Project Manager Role at Kognivera

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects across multiple teams at Kognivera. As a bilingual Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring project goals are met on time and within scope while maintaining alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Agile Process Management: Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate closely with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs and ensure user stories are well-defined and ready for development. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by coaching teams on Agile best practices and adapting processes to maximize efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication across teams. Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular status updates, and ensuring alignment on project goals. Lead meetings, presentations, and reporting sessions in both Spanish and English.
  • Team Coordination and Leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams (developers, designers, QA, marketing) to ensure project tasks are completed on schedule. Resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and support team members to achieve high performance and meet project objectives. Encourage a collaborative team environment while promoting transparency, accountability, and a shared sense of purpose.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. Develop contingency plans and ensure timely resolution of issues that may impact project timelines or objectives.
  • Project Reporting and Documentation: Track and report on key project metrics, including schedule, budget, and resource utilization. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change logs. Ensure all project artifacts are properly stored and accessible for future reference and audits.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a technology or digital environment.
  • Proven experience managing projects in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Experience leading bilingual or multicultural teams is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, with the ability to coach teams on best practices.
  • Knowledge of risk management, change management, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on motivation and conflict resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
  • Experience working with international teams or managing projects in Latin American or Spanish-speaking markets.
