About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for executing elements of product development activities and testing. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing commonality and optimization of product and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Support technology development programs and deliver on-time solutions to internal customers.
- Apply state-of-the-art design and simulation tools to optimize heat exchanger performance.
- Evaluate new heat transfer surface concepts using analytical and CFD methods.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of component design/simulation tools.
- Work with cross-functional product development teams to ensure successful insertion of new designs into Carrier products.
Requirements
- We are looking for individuals who are organized and focused on details.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical and Chemical Engineer is required.
- Engineering background in manufacturing and thermosystems is essential.
- Modeling skills and capabilities, including CFD modeling and MatLab, are necessary.
- Good communication skills and self-motivation are also required.
- Advanced English language proficiency is necessary.
