- Communication and Escalation: Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders throughout the incident response process, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
- Security Event Logging: Ensure that all security events and incidents are logged into our ServiceNow instance and regularly updated and closed within established SLAs.
- Experience: At least 3-6 years of proven experience in security incident response and SOC operations.
- Technical Skills: Practical experience with threat detection, monitoring, and incident response, as well as strong technical understanding of network/OS fundamentals and common Internet protocols.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, GSEC, CEH, Security+, SSCP are highly desirable.
