Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Control Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the valuation of HSBC Mexico Global Banking & Markets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of valuation policies and procedures.
- Participate in the automation of processes related to Financial Reporting and Regulatory Requirements (FRTB).
- Investigate and resolve collateral/MTM disputes with external counterparties.
- Support the Core Product Control team in resolving disputes related to valuation.
- Ensure that local models are well-documented, periodically reviewed by the Independent Model Review team, and accurately listed in the Global Model Inventory System (GMIS).
- Calculate, post, and reconcile all Fair Value Adjustments pertaining to HSBC Mexico Global Banking and Markets Business.
- Manage and run the daily End of Day curve process to derive the marked-to-market value of certain asset classes.
- Act as the focal point for all valuation-related questions from internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, business partners, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
