Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure to collect, process, and serve data.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create cloud infrastructure to collect, process, and serve data
  • Design complete solutions based on business requirements
  • Design, create, and deliver APIs for data input and output consumption
  • Set clear goals and timelines for system roadmap
  • Maintain and optimize system performance for throughput, latency, and usability
  • Communicate with team and customers to identify improvements valued by stakeholders of the system
  • Coordinate with team to deliver reliable solutions, data, and models
  • Ruthlessly prioritize tasks to minimize time to value

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • 3+ years of experience architecting and implementing complete solutions
  • Fluent in Python and Django or Flask
  • Fluent in another backend framework such as Nodejs, Ruby on Rails, Laravel or others
  • 3+ years of DevOps experience building cloud infrastructure and at least 3 years with AWS
  • 3+ years experience building secure and compliant infrastructure
  • Experience in the fintech industry
  • Experience creating and consuming APIs
  • Experience creating serverless infrastructure and micro services
  • 2+ years of Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience delivering highly available data integrations
  • Experience developing software products from scratch
  • Degree in Computer Science or similar
