**Job Title:** Environmental Coordinator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Environmental Coordinator to join our team at 3M. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing environmental programs and initiatives to minimize or eliminate health and safety risks to employees and facilities.

• Adapt and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate, governmental, and local regulations.
• Develop and implement functional project plans to support business needs and goals.
• Supervise the development and implementation of improvements and/or solutions to work processes and tools.
• Manage subordinates with clearly defined roles within a functional discipline such as health and safety assurance, air/land/water protection, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, fire protection, etc.
• Responsible for the activities and results of their subordinates.
• Handles non-routine and difficult inquiries where the solution is not immediately apparent.
• Resolves issues and conflicts related to direct reports.
• Has a considerable impact on the direct work group/team, providing leadership.

• A Bachelor level university/college degree is generally required. Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 6-9 years relevant working experience is normally required.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with the theories and practices of one or more disciplines such as health and safety assurance, air/land/water protection, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, fire protection, etc.
• Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility is normally required.
