About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Marketplace Abuse Lead to join our team at Uber. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and driving operational efficiency.
- Abuse Trend Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify and understand abuse patterns, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive strategies to detect, prevent, and mitigate abusive activities, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with operations, product, legal, and customer support teams to enhance earner abuse prevention measures.
- Reporting and Insights: Provide regular updates and actionable insights to senior leadership on marketplace abuse trends and the effectiveness of preventive measures.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience solving complex analytical problems, preferably in tech companies, business consulting, or related fields.
- Professional English proficiency.
- At least 7 years of experience managing a team.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in leveraging data to identify patterns and develop actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or similar is preferred.
