Job Summary

Lhr Global is seeking a highly experienced Drilling and Workover Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Drilling & Workover department, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs engaged in carrying out programmed work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee all operations performed on our wells, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered, leveraging your expertise to optimize drilling and workover operations.
  • Coordinate deliveries of materials to the well, ensuring timely availability and minimizing delays.
  • Ensure that the contractor meets all requirements of their contract, maintaining a strong working relationship and fostering a culture of collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 7 years of experience in drilling and workover operations, including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.
  • Or completion of ITC: English, ERW, Math, MI with 13 years of relevant experience in drilling and workover operations, including supervisory experience generally acquired by progression on a drilling or workover rig.
  • Willingness to live in remote areas in mobile camps, with a strong ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities.
