Job Summary

Citi is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead our Applications Development team. As a key member of our technology organization, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our credit card systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of functions and identify opportunities for system enhancements.
  • Resolve complex problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of system flow and coding standards.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Serve as a technical advisor and coach to mid-level developers and analysts.
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Applications Development or systems analysis role.
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in at least one area of Applications Development.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly and demonstrate leadership and project management skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Credit Card Knowledge: 4+ years as Subject Matter Expert on Enhanced Online Authorization Credit Card System (EAS Module) and Enhanced Credit Management System (ECMS Module).
  • Experience in managing internal and vendor development teams.
  • Strong people management skills and ability to work with distributed teams across different time zones.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with Business Representatives, SMEs, Vendor Management, functional and technical teams.
