Job Summary

Vishay is seeking a skilled Laser Maker to join our Manufacturing team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with production plans and production line outputs, while maintaining overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to relevant internal work instructions, safety rules, and applicable regulations (e.g., EHS) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
• Plan and contribute to unit's budget, allocating resources and maintaining manufacturing costs as planned.
• Execute, supervise, or manage manufacturing front-end processes assigned, according to specified procedures.
• Prepare wafers, components, or semi-products, and monitor related hand-stock.
• Process components or semi-products/products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform basic machine-related setup and/or CNC/SPS-programming, if required.
• Cooperate with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues.

Requirements

• Apply specifically work-related skills to execute few and focused procedures assigned.
• Operate with one type or small range of similar machines, which may include simple parametrization according to work orders given.
• Start, monitor, and check the processes assigned, in production, assembly, or logistics.
• Continuously check the quality of products produced.
