About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Operations Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating procurement operations for direct material and services across multiple sites and countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute action plans to continuously improve Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance.
  • Support the procurement organization in all related processes, including negotiation preparation and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Work closely with project teams to validate purchase requisitions completeness and conduct Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) preparation.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including vendor selection, evaluation, and negotiation of contracts.
  • Develop and maintain purchase orders and amendments, as well as create and manage reports on supplier performance and procurement KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with a demonstrated track record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in direct procurement in the industry sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commodities, manufacturing processes, and logistics & warehouse management rules.
  • Expertise in SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
