Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Operations Manager - Manufacturing Excellence to join our team in Juarez, Mexico. This role will provide direct support to production lines, ensuring that manufacturing processes meet validated parameters and products meet specifications.
This position is responsible for providing leadership and technical knowledge to daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that established metrics, including production, quality, waste, and cycle time, are met. You will be expected to collaborate with support departments to meet or exceed business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise production personnel and lead by example to promote a culture of excellence, safety, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvements and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, applying them to optimize performance and reduce waste.
- Communicate effectively with production associates, addressing labor-related issues and providing support for resolution.
- Conduct training programs for associates, ensuring timely completion of scheduled dates and continuous improvement of skills.
- A minimum professional career in Engineering or a related technical field, preferably with 4-6 years of experience in production supervision.
- 3+ years of experience in the medical industry is highly preferred.
- Possess good leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, with a proven ability to make customer-centered decisions.
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Controls, and Production Controls is required.
Johnson & Johnson offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
