Main Responsibilities
  • To lead project management commissions from start to finish, ensuring seamless end-to-end service delivery on complex projects.
  • To act as the primary point of contact for clients, guaranteeing their objectives are met, and projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

Scope of Work: Our Project Managers oversee projects with varying scales and values, typically up to £40 million in size. However, when providing advisory services, such as urban regeneration funding, the overall project scope may be significantly larger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic guidance at the project conception stage, including recommending approaches to achieve client objectives.
  • Establishing project success criteria, encompassing time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Oversight of quality, safety, health, and environmental aspects.
  • Implementing effective project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Developing detailed project plans and ensuring their execution.
  • Advising on resource procurement strategies.
  • Ledging cross-functional project teams and facilitating communication among stakeholders.
  • Maintaining performance metrics, including KPIs, to enhance project performance.
  • Managing change control processes.
  • Monitoring project finances and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Fostering open communication channels with clients and stakeholders through regular meetings and written updates.
  • Ensuring the production of comprehensive project progress reports.
  • Serving as a key liaison between clients and consultants at all project stages.

Business Development Opportunities:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities to drive growth.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to develop compelling bids for new projects.
  • Participating in client pitches and presentations.
  • Maintaining accurate project case studies, photographs, and CV files.
  • Enhancing project management offerings and services.

Internal Management Accountabilities:

  • Staff management (where applicable): contributing to the formal management of Assistant Project Managers or small project management teams, including recruitment interviews, resource allocation, and junior staff appraisals.
  • Knowledge management: documenting key information and lessons learned from each project into the company's internal database.
  • Financial management: ensuring timely client invoicing and utilizing financial management systems to track project finances.
  • Process improvement: identifying and implementing ways to enhance internal systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualifications in relevant fields.
  • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, preferably in a consultancy environment.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £65,000 - £85,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
