Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Hilton Worldwide, Inc. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees, while also maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control staff entrances and exits
  • Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Investigate and report all incidents of theft, vandalism, and other security breaches
  • Manage and maintain the hotel's security systems, including CCTV and access control
  • Provide a high level of customer service to guests and employees, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a smooth and secure operation
  • Stay up-to-date with local laws and regulations, as well as industry best practices, to ensure compliance and excellence in security
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. law enforcement, security management) preferred
  • At least two years of experience in a security-related field, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response and evacuation procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including standing, walking, and lifting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • First aid and CPR certification
  • Knowledge of security software and systems
