Scientific Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Scientist to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting the Bar Soaps category across Latin America, working closely with various departments to deliver high-quality results.

• Drive innovation and growth by delivering Divisional Activity Grid projects with quality execution and speed, adapting and implementing global bundles, and developing new products for the regions.
• Excel at delivering fundamentals by complying with Quality, Safety, Regulatory, and EOHS requirements, integrating IP and Corporate Sustainability Strategies in Implementation & Support processes.
• Maintain Funding the Growth as a competitive advantage by identifying and executing timely divisional/regional FTG and simplification programs.

• Deliver assigned projects working with Consumer Innovation Centers, go-to-market teams, and Global Supply Chain.
• Support knowledge and technology transfer in manufacturing sites across regions and work as part of divisional Funding the Growth and simplification teams to develop and implement Margin Improvement Projects.
• Interact with business partners such as Consumer Innovation Centers, Technology Innovation, local marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Environmental Affairs, Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS), Technology Insights, Legal, Supply Chain, and Product Development.
• Submit and follow-up on invention records and research reports.
• Support the conceptualization, design, management, and data analysis, including implementing new technologies and conducting clinical trials.
• Responsible for formula development, stability evaluation, and communicating results with other functions.

• Execute assigned projects without compromising timelines.
• Fulfill safe behaviors and awareness, sound environmental practices, and commitment to quality.
• Brainstorm new ways of doing things.

• Adhere to the baseline timetable for all key activities to support formula implementation and start-up.
• Deliver timely results against assigned grid projects.
• Develop, validate, and implement assigned regional and local bundles.
• Adapt and implement assigned global bundles through line extensions.
• Substantiate claim support and ensure compliance with local regulatory needs and corporate quality standards.
