The Role
As a Commissioning Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing commissioning projects from start to finish, ensuring that all commissioning activities are executed in accordance with scope and contract. You will work closely with business operations and construction managers to communicate effectively and provide guidance on project issue resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Strong time management skills to work on multiple projects at a time across different countries and time zones. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with business operations and construction managers.
- Commissioning Management: Manages Commissioning Consultants' day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with scope and contract. Assists Commissioning Consultants with RFIs related to projects in progress.
- Vendor Management: Undertakes regular business reviews with vendors to review performance and ways to improve interaction. Responsible for production of project-specific commissioning RFPs and responding to bid clarifications.
- Reporting: Provides input into data analytics/metrics reporting. Writes comprehensive reports that include recommendations for optimizing building operations, functional checklists, list of deficiencies, equipment operation, and maintenance manuals.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in data center commissioning is preferred. Leadership experience in a mission-critical environment. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering preferred. Advanced fluent Spanish and English is a must.
