- Conduct Performance Analysis: Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Implement Process Improvements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Manage Resources: Schedule and assign personnel, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with established procedures and policies.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate production and process performance metrics to production teams, plant operations staff, and functional leaders.
- Develop Talent: Perform performance reviews, develop career and talent development plans for salaried and hourly employees.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure the production process operates in compliance with established process control set-points and operating procedures.
- Protect Intellectual Property: Ensure the protection of Corning's Intellectual Property (IP).
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in the manufacturing field, with 3 or more years of experience in leading and/or supervising personnel.
- Skills: Proficient in English and Spanish, understanding and experience of Lean Manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping, Green Belt Certified, data-driven decision making, quality systems, and TPM knowledge.
