We are a venture studio based in Barcelona with a strong presence across Southern Europe and LatAm (Mexico). Our mission is to partner-up and invest in talented entrepreneurs to build game-changing e-commerce companies.

We have co-founded +30 companies including Glovo, Wallapop, PlatanoMelon, GoTrendier, and Piper. These ventures have achieved remarkable success, raising over $1.5B in funding, generating over $3B in shareholder value, and employing over 3000 people.

Key Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and lead the marketing efforts of our next e-commerce venture. As CMO, you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the venture's mission and effectively communicating it to the target audience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a deep appreciation for the venture's mission and developing ways of articulating that mission that will resonate with the target audiences for B2C.
  • Developing different strategies to communicate the company's main message and generate initial demand by testing various channels.
  • Working together with the rest of the management team in prioritizing and planning marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives end-to-end.

To succeed in this role, you must have demonstrated experience in managing successful cross-channel digital marketing programs, with strong knowledge of brand building and scaling. A background in the digital industry, preferably with a managing position in a marketing department, is also required.

We are looking for a marketer who can monitor, analyze, and report KPIs, continuously testing and optimizing channels, audiences, bidding strategies, visual creative, and copy to maximize immediate and long-term ROI.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in managing successful cross-channel digital marketing programs.
  • +6 years of experience in the digital industry, having previously held a managing position in a marketing department.
  • Previous experience with DNVBs or DTCs brands is a plus.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with a hands-on approach with relevant software tools as part of your day-to-day workflow.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, making data-driven, insightful decisions to drive the business forward.
  • Passion for the digital sector and entrepreneurial mindset.
