Customer Service Manager Job Description

Humaniq Headhunters is seeking a skilled Customer Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences through effective communication, issue resolution, and timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers through courteous and professional communication.
  • Fulfill customer instructions and inquiries promptly, adhering to company and customer specifications.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter and verify data related to customer orders, shipments, receipts, and inventories.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Finance, and other supply chain teams to manage the full cycle of customer orders through EDI, Warehouse Management systems, and ERP.
  • Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and customers, coordinating special projects and shipping requests.
  • Support B2B channel execution by coordinating pickups and deliveries to major national retail chains.
  • Report and resolve issues, implementing root cause and corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-5 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a Distribution Center or 3PL environment.
  • Strong experience with EDI and warehouse management systems is an asset.
