Woodworking Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. They will also visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines, carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio), identify and locate shut-off valves, and maintain maintenance inventory.

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
• Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and other guestroom items

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. This estimate is based on the cost of living in the area and the requirements of the position.

• Display basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes
• Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
