Job Description

As a DRAM Design Validation Engineer at Micron, you will play a critical role in validating new DRAM compute products. Your responsibilities will include preparing validation tests and hardware for silicon testing, executing validation tests and analyzing results, categorizing silicon issues for fast and accurate reporting, investigating results with functionality or margin issues, correcting and mitigating software and hardware limitations, and reporting all findings with confidence to Design Readiness and working to root cause.

You will also collaborate with other teams on issue repeatability and correlation, expand validation coverage by analyzing DRAM functionality and margin, contribute to validation testing with new python-based sequences, be an expert on validation coverage and operation, and be a technical resource for tester operation and capability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should have experience and technical knowledge of DRAM architecture and functionality, solid circuit-level knowledge, simulation and debug experience, advanced knowledge and experience with C/C++/Python, and a Bachelor's Degree + 3-5 years or Master of Science + 1-2 years of relevant experience, majoring in one of the following: Computer Engineering - Electrical Engineering.
