Key Responsibilities- Medical Management and Regulatory Compliance
- Oversee and manage the medical management and regulatory compliance team, including drug and alcohol screening compliance and medical availability.
- Negotiate with medical vendors and lead the Company's medical management function.
- Medical Management Strategies and Initiatives
- Develop and implement medical management strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Provide oversight for medical management programs, including but not limited to the case management of on-the-job injuries and fitness for duty determinations.
- Partnerships and Collaborations
- Partner with Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and health promotion programs.
- Business Unit Function Goals and Objectives
- Participate in developing the business unit function goals, objectives, and systems.
- Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of business unit function in relation to established goals.
- Continuous Improvement
- Recommend new approaches and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of services performed.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job-related major field of study.
- Language
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant professional experience, including specialized knowledge of a discipline utilized to lead an area of our business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications
- Certification as a medical examiner and examiner by the SCT.
- Specialty
- Specialty in Occupational Medicine.
- Knowledge of Related Regulations
- Knowledge of related regulations.
- Experience in Developing Regulatory and Medical Compliance Programs
- Experience in developing regulatory and medical compliance programs, including drug and alcohol testing programs and certification programs.
- This position has a regular full-time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday.
- This position may require minimal travel up to 10% of the time.
