We are seeking a skilled Virtual Insurance Verification Officer for our team. This role involves obtaining benefit verifications and authorizations efficiently and accurately for multiple clinics. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to multitask in a well-lit professional office setting with high-speed internet and a quiet work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

Answering phone calls and addressing patient questions.

Verifying appointments and ensuring proper patient information.

Checking benefits and verifying insurance policies.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**:

Experience with benefit verification and authorization.

2+ years of Medical Front Office experience; outpatient rehab office experience preferred.

Proficient computer and typing skills with relevant software knowledge.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills with formal training.

Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask across several EMR systems simultaneously.

Ability to interact with patients and clients in a caring, respectful, and empathetic manner.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance role within a medical office environment.

Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in challenging situations.

Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills.
