Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by ensuring that every detail of their dining experience is met with excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present food and beverage carts, stations, and buffets to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure that all meal requirements, allergies, and special requests are met.
- Clear and reset tables, ensuring that they are properly crumbed and ready for the next course.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
- Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware.
- Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, reporting any accidents or injuries to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards.
- Support team members to reach common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time or for an entire work shift.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
