**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Senior Specialist to join our team in the Steel Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical maintenance documentation, setting procedures and standards, and improving asset availability and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the cataloguing, updating, and sharing of technical maintenance documentation, including technical specifications, procedures, and operational processes.
- Develop and implement procedures and standards by identifying best practices and defining maintenance key variables and technical standards.
- Improve assets availability, reliability, and cost by supporting the process of specification, procurement, and installation of new assets or upgrades/modifications with the Engineering department.
- Analyze equipment data and history records to identify improvement opportunities and act as a formal referent for the specific technology/process.
- Participate in cause-failure analysis and the definition/implementation of solutions.
- Propose and optimize maintenance strategies by analyzing and comparing preventive maintenance activities results with equipment data and history.
- Improve the quality of work performed by performing random audits of executions of preventive and corrective activities.
- Reduce maintenance workload by proposing and implementing projects or methods to continuously develop/improve maintenance activities.
**Requirements**
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance engineering and experience in the Steel Industry. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
