About the Role:
The Manufacturing Cost Analyst will be responsible for developing technical variable and tooling costs for Engines and adapted Engine components using activity-based costing methodologies. The selected candidate will provide subject matter expertise to support engineering and purchasing teams at all development phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze supplier quotes and negotiate EDD (Estimated Delivery Dates) agreements
- Collaborate with the team in Design to Cost initiatives and benchmarking piece cost and tooling cost
- Develop understanding of element investment for various manufacturing processes typical for Driveline commodities production
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing
- 5 years' experience in manufacturing or costing
- Solid technical knowledge in iron & aluminum casting, forging, machining, turning, grinding, stamping, MIG welding, and final assembly
- Ability to transform manufacturing processes into specific costs
- Detailed-oriented with ability to manage multiple programs and cost details simultaneously
Preferred Location: Near the Saltillo plant, to ensure availability for in-person presence when needed.
Benefits: As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary package including an estimated annual salary range of $85,000 - $110,000, based on location and experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
