Energy Sector Director Mexico

AECOM LATAM is seeking an experienced Energy Market Sector Lead to be based out of Mexico City, Mexico. As a seasoned professional, you will assess the energy market in Mexico, identify opportunities for clients and bookings, with a focus on early engagement.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the global business line and senior leadership to develop and own the long-term vision for sustained growth of AECOM's Energy business in the Mexico market, emphasizing Renewable and Green Energy.
- Oversee the capture process for key pursuits in Energy to ensure best practices are being adhered to and continuously improve capture results.
- Evaluate Energy opportunities and determine which to pursue based on client understanding, pre-positioning, alignment with overall growth strategy, and AECOM strategic position.
- Oversee the client account management program for key clients in Renewable Energy to ensure active management.
We are offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The selected candidate will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering or related field, with over 8 years of proven technical experience.
- Demonstrated experience and networking in Renewable and Green Energy projects, both related to technical and project finance.
- Demonstrated experience in Net Zero, Carbon Capture, and other ESG strategies.
Additional qualifications include:
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in business development, and strong existing relationships with Energy clients in Mexico
- Strong understanding of best practices in business development for professional services
