At syncreon America Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP Implementation Specialist to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our global finance solutions team, this individual will be responsible for providing functional support for SAP at our site in Mexico.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a SAP Analyst, SAP Consultant, or in a related occupation, with a strong background in implementing, upgrading, and rolling out SAP modules. They will also have experience with industry best practice standard application solutions for business processes, including finance, purchasing, and other SAP applications.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with corporate teams to deliver industry best practice standard application solutions for business processes.
  • Supporting the development of functional solutions through project and design reviews, evaluating solutions for usability, applicability, and adherence to corporate standards.
  • Identifying and delivering business needs of corporate global finance and purchasing user populations, gathering requirements, and analyzing existing SAP software capabilities to meet business requirements.
  • Configuring site-specific and global parameters in support of usage decisions, developing and documenting functional requirements and designs where customization is required.
  • Utilizing common techniques, including use cases, test cases, and DFDs, to support the development of requirement specifications.
  • Building, documenting, and executing test plans to ensure quality of software changes, supporting and writing user documentation to assist others.
  • Working with other analysts and SAP applications to define and implement business processes that span functional boundaries within the application.
  • Supporting and resolving user production issues via problem analysis, identifying if application issues are related to data, application configuration, or bugs in the vendor or custom software.
  • Communicating bugs to both vendor and internal development manager/service desk, reviewing and evaluating process improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively reviewing new software updates for functional changes that may impact business usage, customizations, and standard work instructions, and coordinating with users, site, and corporate management, software development, and application administration groups to ensure finance application requirements are met.
