The Legal TeamWe are looking for a highly skilled Financial Lawyer to join our team in Mexico. As a member of our legal team, you will work closely with our business department to draft and negotiate commercial agreements, provide timely and effective advice on regulatory matters, and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and negotiating various types of commercial agreements, including IT and transactional agreements.
- Providing high-quality advice to our business department in a timely manner.
- Assisting with regulator's information requirements regarding products.
- Identifying and mitigating legal risks related to regulatory issues in the financial sector.
- Analyzing and participating in industry initiatives.
- Advising our business department on risk management and providing solutions or alternatives to projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Law.
- English proficiency is required.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial law, regulatory issues, contract drafting and negotiation, and assessing financial products and operational businesses.
- Knowledge of regulatory risk perception undertaken by authorities such as Banxico, CNBV, Condusef or any other.
- Excellent drafting and legal interpretation skills.
- Understanding of business needs.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
