Job Summary

Ntt Data, Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Software Category Management team. As a Procurement Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for software categories, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-risk, complex, and high-spend categories within and across global business units.
  • Provide governance direction to contract administrators, procurement and sourcing specialists, and other supply personnel.
  • Define and implement sourcing, purchasing, and category best practices.
  • Develop and implement category plans that define the strategy for effectively managing the category of spend to meet business unit and company goals.
  • Lead personnel to achieve objectives across related categories and/or across multiple sourcing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or supply chain or other related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
  • Demonstrated project and change management skills.
  • Demonstrated command of Category(ies) and supply management practices and concepts.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the entire supply chain and cost drivers.
  • Ability to meet and exceed customer requirements while managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to challenge clients and leadership effectively where appropriate.
  • Strong ability to hold Suppliers accountable for performance.
  • Ability to effectively navigate in a global organization.
  • Balancing competing priorities while building and maintaining productive relationships.
  • Ability to constructively manage conflict among stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, ability to grasp technical requirements, and communicate effectively with business unit and corporate personnel.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the entire global supply chain process and cost drivers.
