About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Gualapack S.p.A. in Mexico. As a key member of our Corporate Information System team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of our global network infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Oversee assigned projects, coordinating internal resources and external consultants to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Technical Requirements: Help define technical requirements for new hardware and software, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Helpdesk Support: Collaborate with the local Helpdesk team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Global Network Monitoring: Monitor systems in the existing global network, ensuring efficient operation and identifying potential issues or bottlenecks.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement best practices to guarantee system security, staying up-to-date on technology developments and proposing innovative solutions.
  • System Administration: Install and configure operating systems and application software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Global Network Architecture: Contribute to designing global network architectures, system improvements, and defining IS standards.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with the headquartered team, ensuring seamless collaboration and information exchange.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in administration of complex WAN network infrastructure and routing protocols, server and infrastructure equipment, and deep knowledge of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various systems.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work under stress, meeting assigned deadlines, proactive approach, ability to work independently but as part of an international team, strong interpersonal skills to interact with different teams, and excellent English language skills.
