About the Role

The Senior Platform Architect will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our cloud-based platforms, ensuring seamless integration with our development teams and driving the adoption of DevOps practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based platforms using Azure and other cloud services
  • Lead the development of DevOps practices and tools, including infrastructure as code and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize platform requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for platform engineering
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in platform engineering best practices
  • Participate in architecture review boards and other technical governance processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, or a related field
  • Expertise in cloud-based platforms, including Azure and other cloud services
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including infrastructure as code and CI/CD
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration, particularly Kubernetes
  • Strong scripting skills, including PowerShell and Python
  • Experience with Git and other version control systems
  • University degree in a computing-related field or equivalent experience
