Job Title: Customs Brokerage Agent

At Expeditors, we are seeking a highly skilled Customs Brokerage Agent to join our team. As a key member of our global logistics community, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and timely customs process flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
  • Track and Trace Custom files and reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely client billing
  • Understand all elements of the import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedure and correctly interpret this information to fulfill customer instructions and expectations
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of customs brokerage process, customs legislation - especially with regards to classification, valuation and origin
  • Understanding border brokerage documentation process
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)
