**The Role**
We're seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security processes to protect our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing and remediating security issues, as well as creating and rolling out security policies to ensure compliance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement Risk Management Framework (RMF)-based policies and procedures
- Assess and remediate cloud infrastructure security issues
- Create and roll out security policies to ensure compliance
- Participate in technical design reviews, integration, testing, and documentation work
- Provide information to customers and partners regarding security
- Conduct risk assessments for vendors
- Assist employees with corporate policy compliance
- Coordinate and conduct regular access reviews
- Create security awareness training for employees
- Assist in increasing phishing awareness through campaigns
- Meet compliance framework requirements (e.g. SOC2)
- Coordinate scheduled external security testing
**Requirements**
- Strong attention to detail with analytical mind and problem-solving skills
- Passion for security and awareness of current best practices and trends
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP platforms and associated security best practices
- Comfortable scripting and developing internal tooling with at least one programming language
- Experience with infrastructure and configuration as code tools (e.g. Terraform)
- Experience with container technology (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes)
- Basic understanding of networking and system architecture
