Key Responsibilities- Process Identification and Analysis: Proactively engage with finance SMEs to identify and define business problems that can be addressed through automation.
- Process Improvement: Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements through value stream mapping and re-engineering.
- Process Mapping and Automation: Build the end-to-end process map across different functional processes. Understand the AS-IS processes, eliminate waste and redundancies within the AS-IS processes & then define a streamlined TO-BE process to enable the suitable automation solution.
- Project Management: Manage backlog of automation opportunities and continue to look for opportunities that align with program objectives.
- Cost Benefit Analysis: Perform Cost Benefit Analysis to focus on the top critical processes that need to be automated through automation.
- Project Prioritization: Drive monthly operating rhythm to review funneled projects with the Automation Governance Council, prioritize automation projects based on cost benefit analysis and hand-over for development.
- Automation Implementation: Identify repetitive manual tasks & justify the value through automation. Focus on driving the productivity improvements at a micro-process level & to give through diverse automation methods.
- Methodology and Governance: Define agile execution methodologies and project management practices to be followed by all projects within the program.
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Collect core functional/business requirements and work with Solution Architects and developers to complete accurate completion of Automation projects.
- Requirements Traceability and Testing: Ensure requirements are documented, traceable, and testable through to implementation.
- Automation Promotion: Promote Automation by working across functional groups to educate and promote the capabilities and efficiencies that can be achieved through automation.
- Project Team Management: Organize project teams comprising from internal and external technical and functional experts based on budget, scope, and timeline.
- Project Execution and Coordination: Manage daily execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with global technical teams.
- Project Risk Management: Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project.
- Customer Communication and Progress Reporting: Manage customer communication and progress reporting at different levels of the organization including leadership and executives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching customer expectations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems / finance or any other relevant field.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience on RPA tools and cognitive platforms such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Process mining etc. UiPath experience is needed.
- Finance and Accounting Domain Experience: 1 - 3 years of Finance and Accounting domain is preferable.
- Agile Development Methodologies: Experience with Scrum /Agile development methodologies. JIRA is a plus.
- Project Leadership Experience: 2-3 years' experience leading and handling project teams is preferable.
- Business Analytics and Automation Software: Experience with business analytics software, Microsoft Power Suite, or other finance automation software a plus.
- Workflow Tools and Development: Experience with Workflow tools, Workiva, Dodeca and various Blackline modules; development and implementation is a plus.
- Language Fluency: Fluency of the English language (verbal and written).
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly learn and analyze the requirement, terms and propose a viable solution.
- Business Process Excellence: Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and/or related business process excellence trainings are a plus.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced Excel is a must.
- Strong Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills.
- Change Management and Interpersonal Skills: Credible change agent with demonstrated initiative, facilitation & interpersonal skills; exhibits confidence; proven ability to work well with & influence all levels of customers.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead; demonstrated abilities to deliver effective presentations and educate at all levels of the organization.
