The Payroll Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll functions for the Marmon Foodservice Technologies (MFT) Food Solutions Businesses. This is a highly visible and essential role within the organization, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager.

• Administer all components of the payroll system, processing multi-company, bi-weekly and weekly payrolls timely and accurately utilizing ADP, Tress and Workday.
• Ensure the calculation of earnings and deductions are accurate and completed in a timely manner, in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws for U.S. and Mexico employees.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring payroll information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Process payroll information associated with newly hired employees, terminated employees, wage verification, withholding allowances, pay rate changes, status changes, benefit deductions, payroll garnishments, and direct deposits.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and requests from employees and internal/external users of payroll data, researching and troubleshooting payroll discrepancies and resolving any payroll-related issues.
• Assist the Payroll Manager in running and submitting weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for employees.
• Review and maintain Tress and ADP databases for employee payroll data, maintaining physical employee payroll files.
• Payroll analysis, auditing, and reporting, ensuring proper accounting and accuracy for all payroll transactions, benefits, and accruals.
• Schedule special or off-cycle payrolls, providing ad-hoc reporting.
• Perform assorted non-payroll related tasks, including accounts payable voucher entry, accounts receivable cash application, account reconciliations, and various month-end tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in ADP, Tress, and Workday is required, as well as a strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
