Test Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Development Engineer to join our team at Cisco Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing test strategies for our products.
Your primary focus will be on generating product-specific test plans and driving test coverage based on product requirements. You will also design, build, and deploy test platforms for our global manufacturing partners.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and root-causing manufacturing yield issues and field escapes. You will also drive issues to closure with preventive measures and develop and maintain Python SW test scripts using our MFG test automation framework.
As a Test Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, both domestically and internationally. You will also have the chance to educate and train contract manufacturing TE's on NPI products and test development tools and test procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in data analysis, yield reports, and CpK. You should have experience building and reviewing test plans, as well as a strong project management skill. Computer server or microcontroller knowledge is a plus, and any CCNA/CCNP certifications and Agile Methodology experience is also desirable.
Our ideal candidate will have a BSEE/CS or MSEE/CS degree, with 5+ years of related experience. You should also have experience working with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and VMware, as well as proficiency in Python with applied knowledge of OOP concepts.

Performance-Based Incentive Pay
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
