Geoscience Consultant

As a Geoscience Service Consultant at AspenTech, you will play a key role in providing formation evaluation services to Oil & Gas client companies. Your expertise will help them achieve and enhance their subsurface objectives using state-of-the-art petrophysical, rock physics, geomechanical, and other formation evaluation methods.

• Support clients locally and remotely by working with a team of geoscientists to solve complex subsurface issues with state-of-the-art software.
• Execute formation evaluation activities and integrated projects to completion to customer satisfaction.
• Understand technical and contractual requirements of projects to establish a trust relationship with the customer.
• Communicate progress of projects through weekly reporting and presentations.

• Minimum BS in the Geosciences.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in formation evaluation.
• Must be capable of carrying out formation evaluation activities and projects in part or in full by independently making key decisions on methodology and parameterization.
• Experience with Aspen Technology, Inc.'s Formation Evaluation Suite (Geolog) or equivalent suite.
