Job Title: Logistics Manager

The Logistics Manager is responsible for running logistics operations at the Reynosa Plant and supporting 3PL warehouse sites that serve internal and external customers for NAM Operations. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including international shipments and kanban stocking levels.
  • Supervise storage and inventory space management, as well as assist in hiring and training personnel when needed.
  • Maintain warehouse and logistics metrics for the Reynosa Plant, including On-Time In-Full Delivery, Shipping & Receiving Efficiency, Cycle Count Accuracy, Inventory Turns, and Excess and Obsolete Material management.

The Logistics Manager will work closely with Landis+Gyr team members in multiple locations across the US and external transportation companies to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics management, with advanced experience in warehouse management.
  • Experience in managing high-speed pace 24/7 operations and SAP WMS (Scanning process on E2E ISCM process).
  • Knowledge of inventory management and control, Kanban system, kiting, supermarkets, milk runs, and drip delivery.
  • PFEP experience and knowledge of international shipments (Sud America, Asia Pacific, and Europe).
  • Experience with shipments under different incoterms (EXW, DDP, FOB, CIF).
  • Logistics, Traffic, and Inventory analysis skills.
  • APICS/ASCM certification and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (Green or Black belt Preferred).
  • Knowledge of ERP System and English language (Fluent 85%).
