**Job Summary**
The Gates Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to lead and participate in projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes and quality controls. This role will focus on eliminating quality costs and incidents across the Americas regional power transmission manufacturing locations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the execution of improvement projects targeting the elimination of top Pareto causes of power transmission quality costs and incidents.
- Identify and communicate best practice manufacturing processes and quality controls within regional sites to counterparts in global regions.
- Support supplier quality and supplier development organizations to improve power transmission product quality and cost improvement.
- Develop and implement manufacturing quality standards to ensure consistent adherence to these requirements.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor of Science (BS) undergraduate college degree in an Engineering discipline (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineer and/or Continuous Improvement roles, including experience utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to resolve quality issues.
- Effective project management experience in leading and facilitating project teams.
**Working with Us**
This role will work closely with global quality, cross-functional peers, and business leadership personnel to achieve quality cost and incident improvement objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
