The role of Invoicing Agent at FedEx LAC involves providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of customer invoices. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, issuing credits and debits, and maintaining up-to-date records of invoice registers and customer files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customer inquiries on service failures and billing problems.
  • Issue credits and debits to customer accounts as warranted.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of invoice registers, duties and taxes, airway bills, and customer files.
  • Verify the accuracy of customer invoices and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare cash receipts and bank deposits.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent.
  • Two years of college in Accounting or Business preferred.
  • Previous clerical or customer service experience in a service environment.
  • Two years of experience in Billing or Accounts Receivable.

Skills:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Clear and articulate speaking voice.
  • Light typing and experience operating a CRT.
  • Word-processing and Spreadsheets experience required.
