As an International Logistics Specialist, you will be instrumental in supervising and directing the complete shipment lifecycle for your designated accounts. Key tasks will involve executing and overseeing activities for each shipment, maintaining daily communication, generating reports, and managing correspondence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ensure Operational Excellence:

  • Grasp the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from the issuance of purchase orders to the delivery of goods.
  • Understand and input relevant financial components of shipments to generate accurate billing for clients.
  • Utilize industry expertise and analytical skills to adapt processes and create solutions in response to challenges both internally and externally.
  • Execute and coordinate tasks on shipments to meet all customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
  • Create, maintain, and update shipments in Navisphere, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of pricing and provide quotes based on customer and network needs.
  • Offer tracking and tracing services to clients and generate shipment documentation.
  • Ensure a high level of data integrity within shipments: acknowledgment of shipment details, INCOterms, routing, dates, documents, etc.

Build Relationships:

  • Develop strong relationships with clients, responding promptly and following up on issue resolution.
  • Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively with Customers/Agents, C.H. Robinson offices, and external vendors.
  • Foster a positive working relationship among all team members.
  • Participate, as necessary, in new customer implementations and business meetings.

Additional Activities:

  • Ensure customer SOPs are upheld and adhered to.
  • Operate in accordance with C.H. Robinson, local, and global laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Undertake other duties or responsibilities as assigned based on team and/or country-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Global Forwarding.
  • Proficient in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
  • Strong experience working with automotive accounts.

Preferred Qualifications:
