About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Guest Service Expert to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Guest Service Expert, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our guests feel valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure that all guests feel welcome and valued.
  • Manage the guest experience from arrival to departure, ensuring that all needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality food and beverages.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to Marriott International's high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and nutritional information.
  • Upsell and promote our food and beverage offerings to guests, ensuring that they have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in the hospitality industry.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
