About the Role

Arrow Components Mexico S.A. de C.V. is seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team in Tlaquepaque, Mexico. As a key member of our Hardware Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing power supply solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop requirement definitions aligned with customer needs.
  • Verify, characterize, and document designs according to procedures and standards.
  • Manage time estimation of design activities.
  • Provide hardware support for new developments and improve existing/upcoming designs.
  • Optimize EMC measurements and duration tests.
  • Draft schematic and layout in an accurate manner.
  • Monitor and maintain product safety and quality, writing tests and development documentation.
  • Design, develop, and document specifications throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
  • Deep knowledge of power conversion topologies (DC-DC, AC-DC, and DC-AC).
  • Knowledge of critical parameters when selecting a MOSFET, IGBT, Diodes, and thyristors.
  • Certification in IPC and Battery Management.
  • Experience with Power Design (DC Converter).
  • Experience with high power electrification.
